to blog or not to blog....

i am trying to avoid the facebook craze, don't want to get addicted nor do i want my life to revolve around a page that is suppose to track my every move. but it would be nice to give family & friends a spot to keep up on moments we would like to share with them. so i will give this blogging thing a shot. no promises though.
